she, they, zie. white, thirties, tme, bisexual, genderfluid but for brainweird reasons. toxic yuri warrior and general unlikable lunatic. aquarius who doesn't believe in astrology, scaredy-cat who doesn't believe in ghosts, loves some candles and rosemary magic despite being annoyingly atheist in real life. so-called "saintess" because i'm incapable of using the word "master" normally after decades in the doctor who mines, and i read a truly horrific amount of otome isekai and now think saintess is a normal word for an evil woman chosen by angels to fuck around and ruin everyone's day. this site dabbles heavily aesthetically with shades of rose pink, lindt teddy bears, strawberries and apples as a stand-in until they release the raspberry emoji, and the giant gaping hole that the owl service drilled in the side of my head when i read it as a precocious child. it is a work in progress, but i've decided that everyone talking about "living sites" was right and i'm tired of not publishing what i have done in case people expected more.
at least i have a plan properly now. before i was really just throwing things around. i probably do need to make an earnest page for svsss which feels crazy to me but at a certain point.... well, at least i can do fanfic reviews here.
having published it and fixed the seven things that i had totally ignored needing to fix until the threat of my friends seeing them kicked in, i'm still kind of in awe to have had just a two month turnaround on something. normally i get a few high-intensity days of focus and then run into an invisible wall. my plans from here are probably just to get the sitemap formatted coherently so mobile users can navigate by it, and then... my two site embeds, probably? and then from there i'll be so bored of coding but not writing that i can get back to writing the filling for my tarot pull page randomizer. i considered having it pick three at full random but that runs the risk of having it pull a card in both upright and reversed so i'm thinking of running three randomizers instead and having you pull one upright, one reversed, and one major arcana. that way you still have some chance in position on the last pull but you also don't make me suicidal. i figure some apps and divination styles let you pull upright only so making my own custom three pull where you force one up and force one down before leaving the last to the wilds.
and then i recoded it six times because the elaborate spiderweb of div cages i use wasn't making me happy. i'm typing this at 4am as i completely wipe my mobile formatting and prepare to start it from scratch... i really did want to be able to just collapse all of the containers i do have but so much of it is at the top limits of my capability as it is that figuring out how to preserve the design with a bigger font and half of the boxes inexplicably just 2% too big??? way out of my league. i know when i'm beaten and right now on that front i absolutely am.

i figure we'll start this feature section with the type of rose that i grew up around, growing wild next to the blackberries and stinging nettles along all of the roads in southern england that i walked to-and-from school along & the rose that the rosehip teas i grew up making were sourced from. they have a lot in common with appletree flowers, but far more secured petals and a hardier center. i love a lot of carefully curated and legacy roses, but i always find myself circling back around to the kind that grows by itself and for itself regardless of where it takes root. i'm also just really charmed by one of the alternate names for it reminding me of bedknobs and broomsticks, which is not a good film by any measure excepting the fact that i loved it as a child. - image credit.
touching grass: star and i lost our favourite walking trail after everyone and their mayor decided it was a good spot to park their big yellow machines, but we're making plans to get the front catio porch functional as an actual entrance and exit again which means it will be easier to pop out on walks around to the corner shop and then actually get back to visiting the local national parks from there. the rain has thrown everything off-track and i am mourning the summer i thought i'd spend fighting the lawnmower and face down in the ocean, but i'm trying to push through the absolute seasonal meltdown the entire city seems to be having alongside me.
mindlessly scrolling: we've been watching widow's bay on the recommendation of a few members in the horror manga scanlation discord i'm in and its honestly been both very fun and very scary. i know i'm a coward but i'm also a relentless bitch and i've had very little to complain about on the screaming-from-behind-a-cushion front. as ever i am still embroiled in afk journey, and i will be until the third half of the season rolls in and we get to finish our map by breaking into the house of the kid who was poisoning his classmates in the previous arc. i don't think i'll be so lucky as to see my ugly
